Проблема сохранения культурных ценностей во время войн и локальных военных конфликтов в настоящее время мало исследована. Однако не менее важной является и популяризация книжного наследия и книжной культуры в периоды военных действий. В статье характеризуется книжная выставочная деятельность Государственной библиотеки СССР им. В.И. Ленина в годы Великой Отечественной войны 1941—1945 годов.
The problem of preservation of cultural values during wars and local military conflicts is a little studied now. However equally important is the promotion of book heritage and literary culture in times of hostilities. Book exhibition activities of the State Library of the USSR after V.I. Lenin in days of the Great Patriotic War of 1941—1945 is described in the article.
