В статье рассматриваются отличительные черты Всемирного библиотечного и информационного конгресса: 81-й Генеральной конференции Международной федерации библиотечных ассоциаций и учреждений (ИФЛА), состоявшего 15-21 августа 2015 г. в Кейптауне (ЮАР). Показаны основные тенденции развития международного библиотечного сообщества сквозь призму проекта нового стратегического плана ИФЛА.
There are described the distinctive features of the World Library and Information Congress: the 81st General Conference of International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) held on 15-21 August, 2015 in Cape Town (South Africa). There are shown the main trends in the development of international library community through the prism of Draft of the New IFLA Strategic Plan.
