В статье освещаются итоги работы Всероссийского библиотечного конгресса: XXII Ежегодной конференции Российской библиотечной ассоциации (РБА), состоявшегося 14—19 мая 2017 г. в Красноярске — «Библиотечной столице России 2017 года». Тема Конгресса «Роль библиотек в культурной политике России» объединила около 1350 специалистов из более чем 60 регионов страны. В центре внимания его участников был широчайший спектр вопросов: от глобальных перспектив развития библиотек России в контексте государственной культурной политики до конкретных достижений и ключевых инноваций в работе библиотек различного типа. Программа Конгресса включала 13 совместных заседаний секций, 30 заседаний секций и круглых столов РБА по направлениям деятельности и по видам библиотек, 11 специальных мероприятий, профессиональные визиты в библиотеки Красноярска для обмена опытом и другие события. В рамках Конгресса была открыта XVIII Выставка издательской продукции, новых информационных технологий, товаров и услуг, экспонентами которой стали более 45 организаций. Одним из ключевых событий Конгресса стали выборы на пост президента РБА (на 2017—2020 гг.) и членов Правления РБА. На пленарном заседании было объявлено об избрании президентом РБА М.Д. Афанасьева, директора Государственной публичной исторической библиотеки России. Статус Библиотечной столицы России 2018 года получил Владимир, город также будет местом проведения Всероссийского библиотечного конгресса в следующем году.
There are highlighted the results of the All-Russian Library Congress: the 22nd Annual conference of the Russian Library Association (RLA), held on 14—19 May, 2017, in Krasnoyarsk — the “Library Capital of Russia” in 2017. The Congress theme “The Role of Libraries in the Cultural Policy of Russia” brought together about 1,350 experts from over 60 regions of the country. The participants focused their attention on a wide range of issues: from global development prospects of Russian libraries in the context of the state cultural policy to the specific achievements and key innovations in the work of libraries of different types. The program of the Congress included 13 joint sectional meetings, 30 meetings of Sections and RLA Round tables on the activity directions and types of libraries, 11 special events, professional visits to the libraries of Krasnoyarsk for the exchange of experience and other events. Within the frames of the Congress there was opened the 18th Exhibition of publishing products, new information technologies, goods and services, presented by over 45 organizations-exhibitors. One of the key events of the Congress was election of the RLA President for 2017—2020 and the members of the RLA Board. At the plenary session there was announced that M.D. Afanasyev, Director of the State Public Historical Library of Russia, was elected the President of the Russian Library Association. The status of the Library Capital of Russia in 2018 got Vladimir; the city will also be hosting the All-Russian Library Congress next year.
