The article describes the beginning of life path of A.T. Bolotov, his education, upbringing, the formation of his philosophical and pedagogical views. There is given the holistic characteristic of his personality, his ideology system as a thinker and scholar. There are shown the criteria for creating A.T. Bolotov’s Collection.
