There are analyzed the technology and methods of acquisition, which include four stages: analysis of the ethnic groups, making plan and estimating the budget, identification of selection criteria and acquisition. Alongside with the analysis of technological cycle, there is summarized the statistical data obtained in the course of survey, conducted by the author among 26 public libraries of FRG in the period of October - December, 2015.
