Abstract
On the 50th anniversary of V. Mayakovsky Stavropol Regional Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The activities of the special library, directed on enhancing the socio-cultural rehabilitation of the disabled people, the introduction of automation of library processes and providing of equal access to information for all users are described in the paper.
