Abstract
The material deals with the opening of the illustrative exhibition “Ossetia: From Epos of the Northern Caucasus to the Modern Novels” held on October 14, 2009 in the Russian State Library. The exhibition was coincided with the 150th anniversary of Kosta Khetagurov, outstanding poet and founder of the Ossetian literature. Books and examples of Ossetian decorative arts were presented.
