Abstract
The article is devoted to study of book monastic collections of the Tver and Yaroslavl dioceses on the second half of the 18th - the beginning of the 20th century. Previously, this theme has not been the subject of scientific research. The public policy of publishing had a significant impact on the acquisition of monastic libraries. The study of archival documents allowed the author to analyze quantitative and qualitative composition of the book collections of monasteries, especially the registration, preservation of church books and other publications.

The paper reveals the following aspects of activities of NB Austria: the digitization of information, which began in late 1990 through digitizing the card catalog to be posted on the Internet, the digitization of special holdings and archival collections; digitization of national periodicals (project ANNO), legislation and parliamentary documents ALEX; making available online of the XIV-XIX books collection ("Austrian books online") in a public private partnership with Google; gathering of web-publications and creation of Austrian web-pages archive. Now in the Russian Federation municipal reform during which studying of experience of Zemstvos in the organization of library work and other establishments can promote their more effective joint activity is carried out. Despite a considerable quantity of publications about zemstvos activity, the statistical reporting organization remains practically without attention of researchers. The data about the organization of statistical researches of zemsky library work with use of archival materials is generalized in the article.

Abstract
Since 2009 the specialists of the Volgograd Regional Universal Scientific Library of M. Gorky has been working on the first long-term research project to study the pre-revolutionary history of the Volgograd region libraries. The study is based on the information and bibliographic work that collects and process information on topic under study and is located in the documents and printed materials of the 18th - beginning 21th centuries. The historical information about the librarianship of the Tsaritsynsky district of Saratovskaya province (now Volgograd Region) was included into the context of the article.

Abstract
The author of article considers foundation, development and prospect questions of Moscow State University of Culture and Arts - one of the leading universities in Russia, which is educated specialists for cultural sphere, library work, social and cultural activities, folk culture and arts. The University was established on July 10, 1930 as Moscow Library Institute. In 1964 the Institute was reorganized into Moscow State Institute of Culture due to the gradual increase of educational profile, and in 1994 - into the University. Since its foundation in 1930 the University has given diplomas to more than 80 000 specialists in the sphere of culture and arts. About 12 000 students from all regions of Russia and from 35 countries of the world study at the University now. The university develops according to modern Russian and world tendencies in education process.
