Keeping Traditions — into the Global Information Space: Results of the Meeting of the Editorial Council of “Bibliotekovedenie” (Library and Information Science) Journal

Abstract
The article discusses the Meeting of the Editorial Board and Editorial Council of “Bibliotekovedenie” (Library and Information Science) Journal, which was held on 30 April, 2017 at the Russian State Library. There are described the main scientometric indicators of the Journal, presented the statistics, collected over the last two years, structured by various directions of work of periodical, and the interim results of the activities. There is provided the detailed information on changing the journal format and its causes, proposed the data on adoption of the journal Ethics and outlined the prospects for further development of the periodical.
